Chadwick Conte has done quite a bit of work for me over the years, both for my personal computers and for my business computers. He has performed just about everything you can encounter with a computer. From formatting one (wiping out an entire computer) and reinstallation, to networking computers together.
I once spilled a Diet Coke all over the keyboard of my laptop. Chad, thankfully, saved my laptop, replacing the hard drive and the keyboard for a fraction of the cost of a new computer. Sadly, he could not retrieve all my information on my old “sticky” hard drive –
I never said he was a “miracle worker”, but he nearly is. He’s saved me often enough, both money-wise and know-how. Whether he comes to ME or I go to HIM. Chad gets the job done! Thanx, Chad!

Once again I'd like to thank you for finding the problem and repairing my computer.
Your knowledge, professionalism and personal attention is recognized by so many besides myself.
Since I have had it back, there have been absolutely no problems at all. Your recommendation to avoid future problems and prevent viruses are greatly appreciated also. You exemplify all the qualities of a skilled and trusting IT/computer technician. Thanks Chad
Next, I would check to see what's starting up with your computer by clicking run, then typing "msconfig". This will pop open a window and you want to click the startup tab. If your unsure of what these items are you can always google the process name to determine if it's an ok program.
Also, I would check your add/remove program list to see if there are any suspect programs in there such as 800 Search Assistant . If you find anything, remove it
